At our practice, each patient is treated like 'family', with thorough attention to on-going wellness. Our professional staff includes Leslie "Nikki" Holtke, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She provides complete clinical care — including treatment of illness and injuries, routine check-ups, disease prevention, and diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions for all ages.

Germantown Medical Associates is recognized as a patient-centered medical home, meeting the NCQA's PCMH 2011 standards. As a practice, we've proven our focus on on-going, continuous care that stresses wellness and illness prevention as well as disease treatment.

Dr. Bernard Berks has also earned recognition through the NCQA's Diabetes Recognition Program, providing patients the highest-level diabetes care.

Bernard Berks, DO received his degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and performed his internship locally at Grandview Hospital.

Dr. Berks maintains hospital affiliations with Kettering Medical Center, Children's Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital, Grandview Hospital, Southview Hospital and Sycamore Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Ohio Osteopathic Association and the Ohio State Medical Association.

Dr. Berks has an avid interest in collecting medical and surgical antiques, many of which are on display in his office. His extensive collection, which helps document the history of medical treatment, is well known locally and was the subject of a feature article in the Dayton Daily News.

We offer Saturday appointments twice each month; hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
