| • If your health care provider has told you that you have gestational diabetes, you may be scared or worried about what this can mean for you and your baby. The Providence Diabetes Center has a gestational diabetes education program for you. You can spend time with a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator who has expert knowledge in meal planning and blood glucose management during pregnancy. Your diabetes educator will work with you and your doctor to help you manage your diabetes while you are pregnant. Ask your health care provider for a referral to the Providence Diabetes Center for an appointment. |
