Advances in treatment
There are many new tools available to help you take care of your diabetes. For example, people that use insulin, whether they have type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes, may benefit from insulin pump therapy. The Providence Diabetes Center has a comprehensive insulin pump training and management program.
CGM, or continuous glucose monitoring, is another tool available at the Providence Diabetes Center. You may be a candidate for CGM if you are taking multiple daily injections or using pump therapy. Ask your health care provider for a referral to the Providence Diabetes Center to take advantage of this cutting edge technology that can help improve your diabetes control.
Help during pregnancy
