Dr. Michael Elrod is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. A native of southwest Ohio, and a graduate of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his residency in Dayton at Grandview and Southview Hospitals. Dr. Elrod is also an Adjunct Professor at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Elrod has served with distinction as a physician and surgeon on medical missions to Central America. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons as well as national and local Osteopathic associations.

The practice of Dr. Elrod and Andrew Archer, DO, specializes in general surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery, with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures when possible and rapid recovery time. With particular attention paid to post-operative pain management and wound healing, Dr. Elrod strives to help each patient return to their normal lifestyles as quickly as possible.
