Dr. Robert Margolis and the professional staff at the Ohio Sleep and Pulmonary Center are recognized as one of our area's foremost specialists in the treatment of respiratory illnesses and sleep disorders. Dr. Margolis has been in practice for over twenty years; he is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, and is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
For respiratory patients, the Center is staffed with an on-site registered Respiratory Therapist, and features full pulmonary function testing and consultation for respiratory conditions including:
• Asthma • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) • Pneumonia
• Lung cancer • Other respiratory illnesses
For patients with sleep disorders, our facility includes the SOMNOS Sleep Center, a fully
staffed and equipped sleep lab. The SOMNOS Center performs both nighttime and daytime sleep studies; each patient enjoys a private room with queen-sized bed and bathroom. Each patient room is equipped with state of the art monitoring systems. Disorders commonly diagnosed and treated include:
• Sleep apnea • Restless leg syndrome • Other conditions related to sleep hygiene
To assure patient comfort and ease with sleep study processes, Dr. Margolis personally consults with and prepares each patient prior to a sleep study or treatment.
