Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Gebhart is also a recognized expert in the fields of Bipolar Depression and migraine headaches. An Ohio native, Dr. Gebhart is a graduate of Western University in Pomona California, and performed his residency locally at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center. He has been practicing medicine in Vandalia, Ohio since graduation. He is married and resides in Dayton. In addition to other interests, Dr. Gebhart is a noted writer, having published five novels as well as a professionally recognized medical book.

Dr. Gebhart maintains his hospital affiliations with Kettering Medical Center, Sycamore Hospital, Grandview Hospital & Medical Center and Southview Hospital. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association.
