Providence Medical Group – Germantown is pleased to announce that Stuart Edmiston, DO, has joined our professional staff as a practicing physician.

As a board certified family physician who has served Ohio families for over 35 years, Dr. Edmiston offers patients of all ages personalized, compassionate medical care. He sees his role as one of working in partnership with each patient to achieve better health and wellness. “To achieve the best care and treatment, I believe several things are vitally important — seeing each person as a whole and not just symptoms, taking the time to communicate clearly, and closely involving them in decisions about their own health and well-being.”

Dr. Edmiston is a graduate of Wright State University, and received his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to his extensive experience in family health care, Dr. Edmiston has previously earned an additional certification in geriatric medicine from the American Osteopathic Association.

We’re proud to welcome Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Chris Link to our practice! Chris offers Saturday morning appointments for care and treatment of illness, injuries and most acute and chronic conditions. He is also a Certified Wound Specialist, helping patients heal quickly from wounds sustained from injury, surgical wounds, diabetes wounds, pressure sores and other wounds, as well as educating providers and patients about optimal wound care.

Chris Link holds degrees from Cedarville University and Ball State University, and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As long-term residents of Miamisburg, Chris and his family are nearby neighbors of many of our patients!

As a vital member of our clinical team, certified nurse practitioner Ann Smith offers compassionate health care for patients of all ages, including treatment of illness and injuries, annual check-ups and wellness visits, and disease prevention education.

Ann also plays an important role in actively counseling our patients on ways to better manage their own health to help assure long-term wellness —
“Family medicine gives me the opportunity to care for the whole person, now and into the future. My goal is to build trust over time with each patient through careful communication and attention to the many factors that impact their well-being.”

In addition to her NP-C credentials, Ann is also a Registered Nurse, with over a decade of hospital-based intensive care unit experience. A resident of Brookville, Ohio, Ann has found familiarity in the welcoming neighborhoods of Germantown!

Please welcome to our professional staff Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Amy Goff-Yates! In her role as a primary care clinician, Amy offers comprehensive health care, including treatment of illness, injuries and chronic conditions, annual check-ups and wellness visits, disease prevention counseling and health self-management education.

Amy emphasizes a complete, ‘whole person’ approach to care, considering all aspects of a person’s well-being to promote long-term wellness. “For many patients, I’m their most important point of contact along their path toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I’ll always do my best to listen to every concern, and help them achieve better health today and for years to come.”

In addition to her Family Nurse Practitioner certification, Amy has extensive experience as a Registered Nurse, and has served patients in our area in a number of clinical fields. Of special note, she also holds multiple degrees in philosophy from the University of Kentucky, including a PhD.
