Board Certified in Family Practice, Dr. Robert Hunter treats all family members from newborns to geriatric patients. Dr. Hunter is also Certified in emergency medicine; his practice includes special interests in geriatric care and sports medicine. New patients are always welcome; most major insurance plans are accepted.The professional staff also includes Certified Physician Assistant Rachel Hunter, and Certified Family Nurse Practitioners Lidia Berrone, Maureen Igbinoba, Lisa Rhodes and DeShay Scandrick.
Dr. Hunter is very active in the Ohio Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He was recently elected President of the Ohio Chapter of the ACOFP; will use his new office to help spearhead the organization’s goal of promoting excellence in osteopathic family medicine through education, leadership and responsible advocacy. In 2010, Dr. Hunter was awarded the designation Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (FACOFP), signifying recognition of his experience, dedication and contribution to the advancement of family practice.
Dr. Hunter received his degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and performed his residency locally at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center. He maintains hospital affiliations with Kettering Medical Center, Southview Hospital, Sycamore Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Children's Medical Center.
